Rest in Peace, Caesar

** UPDATE **

Thank you all so much for your kind words, they have meant so much over the last few days of misery. Caesar sadly died this afternoon, after battling on very bravely.
He died at home with me and the family. He was a wonderful cat, like so many rescued strays are, and a loving and caring addition to my family. I will always miss him and his boyfriend Max, who died in 2003. Purrs and Peace ~Mom Claudia

**********************

Please purray for my cat Caesar - he is nearly 19 years old and he has hind leg paralysis.

He is a very brave cat. I rescued him when he was 10 years old from a stray centre, he had no hair and no teeth and had been violently abused. I love him so much, he has been a very happy , feisty, intelligent companion for the last nine years. Please purray for him. Thank you. Claudia x

Claudia, we will send ours strongest purrs to handsome Caesar and to you. Fanks fur sharing your inspiring story wif alls of us. Love & Purrs, KC

Caesar evidently had a terrible life before Claudia rescued him. To have gone through all that and lived another 9 years, he must be a very strong and resilient kitty and received good care. We hope something can be done to help him.

We are purring and grrring for Caesar!

We are sorry to hear the sad news about Caesar. He was obviously a very special kitty. How lovely that he got to spend nine years finding out how good life could be with you, after his traumatic start in life.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that Caesar has gone to the Bridge.
It is so hard, I know because I lost my beloved Bear after 18 years together.
It was as if a part of me had gone with her... I wrote on my blog that day that I had a Bear-shaped hole in my heart. That hole is still there, two years later.
You are in my thoughts and prayers, you did a wonderful thing, adopting an older, abused cat and I know Caesar repaid a million times back.
Love,
ML (Mary Lynn)

We are so sad to learn that Caesar had to leave you before we could get to know him. It sounds like you gave him a forever home and a long happy life so he could forget his awful first years. He knew love and peace and comfort.
